Sport

Sport plays a big part of life at Barnes Wallis Academy.

At Barnes Wallis Academy, we benefit from plenty of space, allowing us to provide a range of sporting activities for our pupils. Football, Rugby, Rowing, Netball, Cricket, Athletics and Rounders, among others, are all part of the core sports that we provide within Sport and PE.

Sport is an integral part of our curriculum. We actively encourage all students to become involved in the variety of extra curricula clubs and fixtures within the Academy, allowing pupils to experience sessions outside of our core sports.

The David Ross Education Trust takes pride in their involvement in sport at their academies. Their efforts to support and provide opportunity to all pupils on the sports field offer a step in for our students into the sporting world, and will allow the sport at Barnes Wallis Academy to be enhanced.
